"The hotel is well situated, an apt hotel which are well equipped, clean and has all the amenities that one needs. The reason for the low rating is due mainly to a mix up in the reservations that we have and how it was handled. We reserved two bedrooms apt, got only one, and also by mistake they overcharge me, and it took me two months and many phone calls and emails to get my money back. Also, we were there during the heat wave and their AC doesn't work that great and it does not go below 22...

"This was a super cute place right in the heart of Lugano. Shopping minutes away. Main bus station less than a 5 minute walk. Building was easy to get in and out of. Arrival directions were clear and easy to follow. Look forward to returning in the future!"

"This was a decent stay. We were hoping to save some money by going this route instead of a hotel for overall price and a kitchen, and we did save money! There is major construction happening next door, so that was loud, and no AC, though we did find a window unit in the closet that saved the day. There were also stand fans. Beautiful view on Monte San Salvatore from Lugano's botanic gardens.
It is possible to take a funicular to the top of Monte San Salvatore, and to hike down from there. Count 4h to get to Morcotte, voted most beautiful village of Switzerland in 2016. From Moroctte, you can take the boat back to Lugano.

"Hotel Villa Fiori at Lake Como is simply wonderful. The view is absolutely stunning, one of those you never get tired of admiring. Breakfast was very good, with quality products and a pleasant atmosphere to start the day. A big plus is the flexibility for dining: you can enjoy a proper dinner at the restaurant or just get something lighter at the lounge bar, which is perfect after a day around the lake. Another great advantage is the plenty of parking space, which is not always easy to find in the Lake Como area."
