"The guest house is nestled just below Mount St Benedict’s monastery halfway up said mountain. As such the views are spectacular and the breeze is welcome in the face of the heat waves you can face in Trinidad. It has a decidedly olde worlde tenor with antiques throughout the common areas as well as the bedrooms.The proprietors are charming hosts and the continental breakfast is particularly good. "Another good experience. It was my second time going to the beach lodge. Highly enjoyed the view of the beach, the food was very good. 10/10 chef. The staff were very kind to us. We accidentally showed up after hours and there was no hassle. We dealt with the payment the next morning because we checked in too late. We had steak and bake and shark (for lunch on one day and for breakfast the next). It was to die for. You have to walk alot in this area or else you probably wont get to the beach....

"- Room had to be changed 3 times. - Bed linens were stained. - Front desk clerk seemed annoyed when asked to change rooms - said there were no housekeeping on duty. - Bathroom towels were all mismatched in color as well as heavily stained. - Vanity drawers contained a spider and cobwebs. - Room did not even have a complimentary coffeemaker or anything to make a cup of tea in the morning. - Fridge in the room was filthy. - Curtains in room was not opaque and allowed light through. - Bed moved...
