"Great location - central to all"

"We loved our stay at the Cairns Plaza Hotel! Our apartment was spacious and clean, with a fantastic view and huge balcony. The location was perfect and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room had good amenities for a long stay, including a mini fridge, microwave, and kettle. Our only major complaint was the lack of an in-room safe. You can store valuables in the front desk safe, but they’re not individual safety deposit boxes like I’ve used in other hotels. Minor suggestions for...

"Staff lady behind the desk was friendly and professional, service with a smile. Easy as check in a and she arranged shuttle to airport in the morning straight away. Aircon was poweful and bed comfortable. Shuttle driver was a great bloke and right on time, friendly chat all the way top the airport which is only 15 minutes away. All in all, great value for money"

"Very easy to get to, on the Esplanade, comfortable rooms. However, the fried menu of everything not meeting dietary diversity, but the breakfast buffet very fulfilling."

"The only downside to my room is that there were no powerpoints near the bed and I had to charge my phone and headphones near the sink. Other than that the room was cool with just a fan and I didn't need to use the air-conditioning. I think the buildings must be kept cool by high canopies over the walkways or some other architectural trick. The staff were quick and efficient. I enjoyed my stay."
