"Pros: Amazing staff. Sara. Loved her. :) The main floor has great bones and could be amazing if maintained. good price. Cons: The rooms. No bueno! They are clean (as clean as they can be with the decades of no maintenance). Rooms need a serious upgrade. But it is cheap and the parking is plenty. 15 min walk to the beach. "

"The owners were very nice and the food was excellent. The room was nice however we were disappointed with the bathroom. We expected a jacuzzi tub, but the jets didn’t work in the tub. There was no shower head, only a hand-held faucet, plus there was no shower enclosure. Made it a challenge to wash without creating a mess all over the bathroom. "

"The entry area of the property is beautiful. The staff is helpful and gracious. The parking is very limited and the driveway area to load and unload is very tight. The rooms are clean, but small. The bathroom has what is needed and is clean, but small and tight. The area surrounding the hotel has great options for food and shopping. The hotel is close to the beach and the area is very walkable."

"We had a nice balcony with a view of the picturesque hillside and an extra bed which we used as a sofa. The queen size bed was very close to the twin bed so not much walking room but the bed was very comfortable. Wish we had asked for blankets as the sheets were not warm enough for the chilly nights. The breakfast buffet was a treat and had the typical European rolls, meats, cheeses, yogurt, fruit, eggs, and cereals but the dinner food was less tasteful. "Stedet er hyggeligt og ligger dejligt højt i forhold til byen, så man er lidt tilbagetrukket og oplever mere ro. Byen er dog blot en 15-20 minutters gåtur fra stedet. Der er en varm og personlig kontakt på stedet og en god service. Wifi’en var god. Værelserne fungerede fint og var meget renlige. "We arrived at the hotel a day late due to a flight cancellation and the front desk staff could not have been more warm and welcoming after what became nearly a 48 hour journey for my sister and me. They actually upgraded us to a sea view room at their newly renovated sister hotel which is right next door. MH Hotel Varazze.
