"Unfortunately this is the worst Kyriad we have stayed in. It is very tired and needs a lot of work doing to the bedrooms and bathrooms. Air con wouldn’t work, and it was very warm in the room but unfortunately noisy with the window open, which we had to endure, no kettle, not enough towels. The rooms are very noisy, with I’m guessing, limited soundproofing. The hairdryer however was one of the best I have used in a hotel. The reception and breakfast areas are pleasant. "Very friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms although small are clean and comfortable. The pool is also smaller than we thought but the outdoor area is nice and well kept. We ate dinner in the restaurant one evening. The menu is limited but the food is very good. There is ample free parking. "We had a lovely stay. We were taking a bike trip and were shown a secure place to lock our bikes. We also had a wonderful meal at the hotel restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel, especially for those cycling in the area."

"Lovely old building in a great location. The rooms are well appointed. Nice bathrooms but didn’t like the pillows on the bed. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very good. Breakfast was okay this morning but would have liked some fruit."
