"Room was a good size, and very clean. It was close to the train station which was really handy. The only down side was when we were checking in, we had a staff member that was quite condescending regarding tattoos in the onsen. Our group had none but he still felt the need to be very rude to us as if he didn’t believe we would abide by the rules because we weren’t from Japan (specifically he made a point , even after explaining the initial onsen rules, that because we were foreigners now...

While there were times when they needed to use a machine translator to communicate, they never brushed us off and were always patient and willing to help whenever we had questions or issues. Their dedication to making our stay comfortable truly stood out."

"Like the sustainability initiatives. However, would be good if hotel able to provide basic complimentary bottles of water upon request. Also the parking was not easy to find for first time traveler. If able to provide more detailed instructions and pictures would be good."
