"The staff are welcoming and attentive, I attempted to speak French and when in difficulty found English understood by several staff members. The food & drink quality cannot be faulted, the room and communal areas very clean, WiFi works well :)) On the downside, the bath has a tap with shower attachment but no shower curtain, water inevitably splashes into the bathroom and makes the floor slippy. There was a problem with the bill, additional alcoholic drinks we had not consumed, check your bill...

"Very nice property very convenient to the ViaRhona bike path with secure bicycle storage. The room was comfortable and clean. We were able to easily walk to a grocery and wine tasting. We visited Ampuis on a Sunday when there were few restaurants open in the community, but very much enjoyed the prepared meal (cold salads, charcuterie and wine!) the hotel was able to provide for us. The breakfast was great as well. Definitely recommend for bike travelers!"

"Not very well maintained. Peeling wallpaper, windows dirty, no towel racks or hooks. The restaurant below is very good. Breakfast of bread, pastries and juice. "

"We arrived as a family of four. The hotel itself, buildings and grounds are well kept and looks recently updated. Our room was nice and met our needs well. My only issues were that the the food menu was limited and not suited to kids, we were also unable to get any refreshments in the day and after 9pm. There was also no milk in the room to accompany the coffee and tea. The hotel has two pools however the water in the outside pool looked mucky. Overall it was a nice hotel with grounds however...
