"A very nice hotel with nice grounds, the staff were great and the food better still. The gym is a big plus and is well kept. The room was clean and tidy only let down by only having 2 pillows on a double bed I'd expect 4 but other than that a great stay and I'd stay again."

"A good hotel that needs some money spent on room refreshes; furnishings and surfaces are all scratched, tired and worn out. Breakfast was also lovely but hardly anything available (no eggs, fruits, beans or mushrooms) - this was sad given it was a Saturday and it was busy but lots of empty tables. ."

"Hotel nice and clean but very dated. Good location and easy access to city centre. Hotel requires full update and renovation. Rooms need more electrical sockets as well. Continual breakfast free but if you want full English extra £12.50. Had evening meal at hotel, nice food and very reasonably priced. If you book Direct with hotel apparently parking is free but if you book via 3rd Party they charge you £18 per car, so as I met a friend there even though we booked twin room it cost £36 for...
