"We had a wonderful stay. We had a kettle for tea or coffee in our room with milk provided and delicious little cookies as well. Hillary, the owner brought us a water in a pitcher and glasses if we were thirsty. Breakfast was delicious with options ranging from a full breakfast to a continental breakfast. "We had a great stay house was really clean and comfortable but unfortunatly it is about 20 km from the train station as it says on website its 15 min walk so we had to get taxis in and out of town which was 30 euro each way Also they don't have credit card facilities so the money had to be revoluted or cash and we weren't informed of this untill day 2.."

"Good location, shame about everything else. Check in was perfunctory, as was service at breakfast. No hospitality at all. Room was the smallest I have ever seen, like sleeping in a caravan. Beds short, my feet were sticking out and I am 5'6", not very tall! No shelf or surface in bathroom for toiletries/make up. Very clean apart from finding an item of clothing left under the bed by a previous guest. This is an expensive guesthouse and we were overcharged on checkout, only by a couple of euro...

"We ended up staying in Hotel Newport at very short notice. Staff were lovely and although rooms were dated, they were clean. Did not spot the kettle the first night so was disappointed by that as I thought there was none. However, the cupboard that contained the tea/coffee etc was pointed out to me the next day - would have preferred it's location to be more obvious. Cooked breakfast choice was excellent and the food served was good quality. Unexpectedly got to join the town's Nephin Beggers...
