"Small room. V basic as expected. Bed awful. No chair, very little flat surfaces to pop things on. Bathroom was glass walled. No privacy for using the loo other than a bit of frosting. TV unusable really due to position. No code for discount at the Qpark car park so had to pay full price £26. Excellent location. Excellent chap on reception. "

"We were attracted to this place because it is so historic, built in 1680. We knew it was a conference center and likely to be less plush than many hotels. The room was tiny and not that easy to reach because I have trouble walking and used a cane.
