"Parking was secure and free, hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious tea and coffee making well stocked. Room had a nice view of the minster, weather was cold but the room was well heated. For what we paid for the room it was definitely value for money. Breakfast was buffet and again great value for what we paid, the receptionist gave us a money off voucher on check in as we did not put it on our reservation. "We stayed in the Ibis hotel for one night.The room was fine and spacious enough. We had everything we needed. The room was dated and the flush for the toilets was very noisy. Apart from that, it was good. We would stay there again. "

"Staff were great and very helpful. 3 of us stayed. Sadly the sofa bed was very squeeky and uncomfortable so didnt sleep very well. Would definitely look at other hotels in future that had beds rather than sofa beds. Breakfast was as you expected for a buffet, coffee was awful even the staff didnt seem surprised when i asked if they had somewhere to tip the coffee out. "

"Great for a night's stay. The room had recently been refurbished and was of a nice standard. Staff friendly and easy to check in and out. Massive car park, parking being free. The only let down was the breakfast. The hot food offerings were poor. Powdered eggs, cheap sausages and bacon. Coffee was wasn't the best. However there is a Starbucks on site."

"Brilliant place to stay. Plenty of parking and for us in particular the electric car charging facilities were very useful. We arrived late and the reception is seperate from the hotel itself but the staff made us welcome and directed to our room. The facilities are faultless. We stayed overlooking the zoo and watched the wolves in the morning for at least 30mins before breakfast. Dining is seperate but again very easy use. Definitely use this location again.
