"I threw in a quick pit stop to Gothenburg from Oslo to Copenhagen. I had originally booked in at a chain property but took another look at my options via TA and decided to come stay at the Hotel Royal. I'm so please with my choice. Great service, beautiful old architecture, comfortable rooms that are laid out well for size (I was in a twin room but had ample room for a large bag). Fantastic breakfast, close to the railway, close to everything. I was only in town for about 36 hours but feel like...

"The Viking boat was lovely, the room was clean, easy check-in, we were late due to the flight being delayed, had to call the phone, which was on reception to get our key card, which was no issue. Breakfast was lovely and highly recommended. I wish we had, had more time there. I will definitely book again."

"Bed is nice and comfortable. Not equiped, not even cattle. TV a bit outdated without streaming option. Light in the room isn’t on one switch and there are lamps only, so you have to turn on and off each one off them. Pool and jacuzzi are nice. Parking is paid extra."
