"The things that stood out the most was how incredibly friendly was every staff member in the hotel and how clean the hotel was, my room smelled nice when I arrived. Breakfast was good, it’s a shame that advertised dinner service was not available on neither days off my stay. The Negative point is non existent sound insulation and super loud kids at almost 11pm."

"This building is old and damp in areas. However good value for money and central. My room was beautiful. Windows quite mucky. Reception lady polite and helpful. Continental breakfast disappointing. "Lots of parking, lovely dining room and food. Hot tub, swimming pool and sauna on site, which was great and a very welccome surprise. Our room was excellent, extremely warm and comfy, and with amazing views. Aa very easy walk into town for mooching round the shops and pubs etc, plus of course the castle ruins. Very happy and would happily return please. "

"This was such a find! Stayed one night with friends in a private room while we hiked in the Brecon Beacons and it was perfect for what we needed. Perks included - plenty of drying rooms (it rained the whole time we were there so this was very much needed!), restaurant and bar, cosy lounge with fire and board games, and a sink in the room. Easy to find, plenty of parking, and great location. If I'm in the area again I will definitely come back."
