"Chisun Grand is just 3 mins’ walk from Takayama station. This is my second time staying at the same exact hotel in Nagoya as I liked it for its location. Hotel room is clean, big by Japanese standards ( I had a twin share). The bath room is also larger than average hotel bath room size. Hotel is near Miyagawa morning market ( 5 mins’ walk) along the river. Enjoy the cool breeze against rushing waters in the river, where you can find carps, fishes, ducks and birds . Along the morning market...

"The staff provided excellent service. The hot springs were beautiful and relaxing. Both the dinner and breakfast meals were plentiful, served in a nice semi-private setting, and offered items that were unique. My only complaint is that there was an unpleasant smell in the area. I believe may have been sulphur from the hot springs. It was not only at the property, but also at other places we visited in the area."
