"The hotel is an early 20th century building (I think) with the style of the belle epoch and our room had wonderful high ceilings and tall windows with a balcony overlooking the bay. There was a good sized desk and fridge, but no kettle. Wifi was good and the first time in Croatia we were actually able to connect reliably. "Rooms are very brightly coloured, which I quite liked. Very clean Nice views over the salt flats and (a bit more distant) the sea, if you book a sea view room About 10 minutes out of Piran Great breakfast, they even had English tea and Earl Grey tea, the first hotel in a week to have those. Light, airy, spacious and colourful. Friendly and helpful staff - made eggs to order. "

"Very difficult to find this hotel. NO signage . I had to phone them from the street. And no little basics, couldn't even get a map of the town. Comfortable room though. "

"well, the front desk staff was nice, the rooms are just ok, the restaurant is overwhelmed and we were after the busy season. Of note is the beach area, and the city of Piran to walking distance. the dining area could use some decorating! it feels like a hospital cafeteria, bright white lights included "

"Staff were rude. At checkin she chose to answer many calls meaning checkin took a very long time No directions given. Tried to checkout and apparently the remote for air con had to be taken down but no one tells you this Staff were so rude Meals were below average. A Buffett dinner and breakfast but the serving trays were empty and not refilled The rooms were very noisy and aircon didn’t work so well Had to park a very long way away and two people damaged cars because of narrow road "
