"Excellent stay! Cross Hotel was very clean, comfortable and centrally located for sightseeing in Kyoto. We arrived about 2 hours prior to check-in time and our room was ready early, which was such a pleasant surprise! We didn't need much in terms of service - but the front desk staff were always courteous. They helped store our luggage after check out and called a cab for us to head to the train station. We'd happily stay here again next time we're in Kyoto!"

"Excellent location within walking distance of Nishiki market and other areas. Room was spacious, we could have both our suitcases open and still have space. Bed was firm, pillows were ok. Bathroom is standard small size but functional. Onsen - is more of a hot tub rather than a normal onsen so is more chlorinated and it bubbles. Hotel doesn’t offer luggage transfer service, and the nearby 7/11 wasn’t able to help so we had to take our luggage to one that was around a 10-15 min walk away. "
