"After reading some mixed reviews, I thought this property deserved a review. I want to start off by saying our room was incredible, we paid for a sea view and boy did we get it! Some of the bad reviews I’ve read complain about it being on top of a hill. This is true however the hotel run a completely free shuttle taxi service which we took advantage of everyday. "Moldy, Dump site for rubbish and trash. The whole place is run down and unkept, the owner was very rude, there were piles of broken glass and bottles and scrap metal all over the place. Road was very dangerous to drive up and the property is no where near the sea in comparison to everything else on the island, no where near the amenities or night life, we didn’t even stay our planned 4 nights, it was terrible "

"We booked waterfront rooms. The view was great with the sand beach right in front. Comfortable covered patio to hang out on. Room was spacious and bed comfortable. Like most places in Thailand could use some minor repairs but nothing that would impact the stay. Staff were wonderful. Walk along the beach 5 minutes to shops, restaurants and the main pier. Go behind the hotel up a short steep hill takes you to a road with hundreds of shops and restaurants as well as a very long and sandy beach....
