"Overpriced but fabulous location for one night. Think travelodge before renovations. I was a female solo traveller and it suited my plans and felt safe. Staff lovely, easy check in/out and easy to park at the hotel or opposite. Nice little touristy town. My room was clean but missing a net curtain and as it was ground floor I couldn’t open the curtains as people walked past. If I was there more than one night I would have asked to move. "Close to Old town with corner shops, restaurants and tour booking office. Walkable from major bus routes. Breakfast is decent, continental with option of cheese and ham or scrambled egg. Accommodation is in the original house or another building across the road. No aircon or central heating but we didn't miss that during the shoulder season."

"Absolutely enjoyed our stay with my boys and their football team at the tournament in Madeira. The hotel was lovely, breakfast was lovely, views was amazing, the rooms were beautiful and very clean condition. Definitely recommend this hotel for anyone."
