"Very nice room, the beach was lovely and we enjoyed having access to the kayaks. There is a shop and restaurants in walking distance, as is the main public beach. The shuttle for the return journey to the airport is stress free, though a bit expensive for a place on a minibus (for 2 people it’s cheaper to get a taxi - we paid 3000 when we arrived). Breakfast was fine for the amount we were paying for a garden view, but for the amount some guests are paying it was very below par. "

"We loved our stay at Villa Yrondi! The view of the bay and the mountain from our dining area was gorgeous. Our apartment was clean and comfortable, filled with beautiful art and fully stocked with needed items. . The manager, Valerie, was so kind and helpful, booking several taxi rides for us and always ready for any questions we might have. For an extra fee, the delicious continental style breakfasts were delivered to our patio each morning: eggs any style (we had cheese omelettes), choice of coffee, tea or hot chocolate, and fresh rolls and pastry with butter and jam. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. We loved the open air style of the Sculpture unit. I would definitely come back again. "

"My stay here was just what I was looking for. Quiet, solitude, and total paradise. Max the host was very communicative, helpful, and accommodating. The food was great, beds were comfortable, and the bungalows were spacious. The view from my bungalow was 10 out if 10. The water there is unreal. Shallow lagoon all around the small island was teeming with marine life. Including black tip sharks in the morning, rays, and I even saw a giant moray eel and octopus. So cool! If you’re looking for a quiet getaway to unplug this is hard to beat. If you’re looking for nightlife and more activities you’re better off staying at a large resort. But they had paddle boards and kayaks which was great. Too shallow to do much swimming but there were day excursions that you could plan for snorkeling and a trip to the Tahitian pearl and vanilla farm. Amazing! I’ll definitely go back "

"My visit was to retrace my father's footsteps, because he spent time there during the war. With that in mind, I wanted to stay at a facility on the main island. I chose the bungalow because of the view (you'll need to rent a car, because it's a very steep climb to get up there). I arrived early in the morning and it worked out for me to get an early check-in. The manager (Maheata) spent a good half hour showing me around the place, and when she found out the reason for my visit, she couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very clean (your asked not to wear shoes inside). There's an out door kitchen, and I'm posting a picture of the view sitting outside of the room. This was a perfect fit for me in every way. I couldn[t be happier."
