"The hotel was excellent in all respects except one. The dinner was buffet style & at a cost of 3,000 per diner was disgraceful.The French onion soup was water with shreds of thin onion. The choice of meat was poor. Boiled beef is not popular but the capon was an insult. The carcass had been cut into chunks which had very little meat on them. Very disappointing The hotel website advertises an a la carte menu. When asked why this was not available I was told meals had to be ordered in advance....

We finally arrived and packed our car by the gate for ten minutes waiting for the gate door bell to be answered as the gate was not manned. When arriving in the evening the Lodge said they had no booking and they had cancelled the cooperation with hotels.com. And the Lodge was completely full. No help and support to find a solution.
