"I couldn’t stay the night... This hotel is more like a hostel. There were several families in residence with kids running & screaming in the filthy living room / bar area off the lobby. I the manager took me to my ocean view room but it was a closet with driveway view. He said that was all they had available for the night; odd given that aside from the 3 families, the hotel was empty. Finally the manager "found" a seaside room that was available. "The apartment is decorated in a basic way, but definitely comfortable. A bit more kitchen equipment would have been useful, but since we only stayed a week we didn't really need to cook more than once. There is no AC, but the apartment stayed cool during the day and the fans help to ventilate so we slept excellently. The location of Costa Ruja is perfect if you want to explore the Costa Smeralda.
