"Very close to train station, and walkable to town. The heat in the room did not work properly, and they were unable to warm it to our needs. The towel warmers non functioning. When I asked the front desk the gentleman was rude to me and said he couldn’t help. Be sure to request the bed type that you want because we ended up with two twin beds not planning on that. "

"I rented a 4 room apt at this location and was completely satisfied. Very clean except the shower had some mold.Kitchen had dishes and utensles for 4 people,including a cheese grater and corkscrew. I had a king size bed and also a foldout sofa in the dining/living room. very quiet street in the center of town. "Having stayed here before, we knew what to expect. It is a delightful ex-monastery which has been converted into a hotel. They have kept the ambiance with a variety of unusual exhibits in eachcommunal area outside a set of rooms which are converted monks cells - each with an excellent en-suite. Both the dinner and breakfast are varied and well prepared including local produce. Once again we felt the cost of our stay was excellent value. "

"It's a 3-star hotel with many 4-star features. A bit out of the way if you want to tour Parma. Also, somewhere it says the hotel is attached to a shopping center. I am not sure where I read this, but it is not true. It is free-standing with no shopping center in sight. Overall, very comfortable, many modern features, and great value. Good breakfast, too."
