"We had a large clean room looking over the lovely gardens. There is a hard working friendly staff. Dinner was delicious. There was an issue being charged twice for the room and breakfast. They apologetic and promised to resolve."

"Room was excellent very clean and everything you need. Arrived late 11pm and met by friendly team great welcome. Breakfast was not the best and let the stay down overall. The smashed avocado on toast was like a thin spread on the toast. The streaky bacon was very fatty and should’ve been much crispier. The best part of breakfast was the scrambled egg which was really good. "

"enjoyed our stay at the hotel but a couple of complaints need addressing 1. the shower basin was very slippery and dangerous. 2. the blackout curtains did not meet when pulled and therefore no blackout. 3. the duvet was obviously a winter tog and needed to be changed to a summer tog. 3. the hot water tap over the bathroom handbasin did not turn in the right direction turned in a left handed direction and the H in the middle of the tap kept falling out when being used. "The hotel is a bit tired. The reception had no one there for quite a while. I had to wait to get served. No teabags in room. The hotel could use some decoration. Having a proper coffee machine at breakfast and allowing to make your own toast would help. "

"Great location. Shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The hotel has a very relaxed feel with a cosy lounge area to kick back with a wine or coffee. Great staff, friendly and helpful. The pool and the gym are great extras. The rooms do not have AC, but we had a room fan which helped. My only criticism would be there was nowhere to put our clothes, as no chest of drawers, only a small wardrobe. "

"Clean room, comfortable bed. Shower was really good, but the shower curtain not. It’s tacky these days. Dead flower baskets outside need to be removed. The exterior really needs a refurbishment. It worked well overall given the price point we and came out alive!"

"Exec room needed 2 comfy chairs and a table. TV did not swivel.Door closers noisy, clunk bang from 6 am in the morning. No air con so if the weather is hot an option of opening the window is a choice of traffic noise or heat. Did not eat in the restaurant as the menu looked very average, A whole side dedicated to Mac (what ever that is)."
