"Whilst we were there, I heard several customers complaining of poor service and cleanliness of the rooms. However, considering the price we paid for the room over a weekend, cheaper than a premier inn, there was nothing to complain about. We found the Staff acceptable and asked how our stay was. "Sunny weather and a comfortable hotel which is close to the centre of York makes for a relaxing few days break. Our second visit to the Moxy hotel and we will be back next year. The staff are lovely, friendly and helpful and it’s nice to relax in the foyer after a busy sightseeing day. "

"The hotel was lovely, we enjoyed it and we had a meal in the Amber restaurant which was also lovely although the menu was a little overcomplicated for my taste, and as a lifelong vegetarian I really don't want fake steak or any kind of fake meat. We thought the staff were lovely. It is really central you can walk anywhere from this hotel."

"A beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. The hotel had trouble with the boiler so it was very cold in the hotel, but the staff arranged an extra blanket for our bed. "
