"The property is on a pedestrian only street which made it very quiet and walkable. The city parking lot is a short walk away if you have a car. Don't pay attention to GPS when you get there because it will keep telling you to turn down the road, which is pedestrian only."

"The hotel staff was great as the check-in process went quickly and we were allowed into our room early as we arrived at 10:30. The room had a good bed and good air conditioning and for the economical price it was nice. It’s very close to the archaeological site which was the reason for our visit. You can walk to the beach and cafes in 5 minutes. We had a full buffet breakfast across the street at their sister property, Hotel Ademo. For a one night quick stay it was perfect"

"Clean and compact but small room with tiny window only. Odd layout because jigsawed into an ancient building. No staff present for our mid-day check in, which was more difficult than it needed to be. Breakfast adequate but nothing special. "

The room was spotless and beautiful with an amazing view of the city and see. There were also two lovely roof terraces to relax. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. "The hotel was modern and clean. Beds comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was lovely with a good selection for a continental breakfast. There were a couple of bars nearby. It was a little walk into the main town you could take a short cut climbing a good number of stairs. The Melqart Hotel is a lovely place to stay it would be even better if there was some outdoor space or a little bar area. "
