"I stayed 4 nights for a work trip. The location is nice and central, rooms were ok but soundproofing is not so good, my neighbors alarm woke me up through the wall. The breakfast was ok but I had better and bigger selection for a bit less money at other hotels. The restaurant is good, not great. "

"My son was in hospital in Pontivy following a motorcycle accident. I shared a room with his partner at the Hotel de l'Europe for nine nights. The staff, two sisters and cleaning ladies were all charming and helpful. The sisters spoke English, again so useful for us. The hotel is central and opposite a car park which was free except not available on Mondays for the weekly market. The hotel has a car park for €8 a day. The room was spacious with original features, decorative coving, ceiling rose...

"It is run down, advertised as having air conditioner but was told when we arrived that it was broken. It was an individual unit...so I asked if we could have a different room and was told they are all broken. The room itself looked clean but we opted to leave without checking in."
