"We booked a room for 4 people but it wasn't for four! It was only for two and at reception they said it was misunderstanding. Shower was leaking, hairdryer didn't work, TV required a code which was different every day so we had to call somebody to come and set it,they didn't clean the room the next day, the last day we didn't have breakfast as on Saturdays they serve it from 10am but we had to leave at 9am, at checkout they charged us for items at the fridge that we didn't take. "A very nice option to stay in Ulanbataar and probably one of the best 3-star hotels I ever stayed in. Clean, very nice rooms, nice gym. Breakfasts were very repetitive, but good for a 3-star hotel. The only problem with this hotel (and not really the hotel's fault) is its location. Due to the very heavy traffic in the city it takes a long time to reach the center of the city and there's not much to do in the vicinity of the hotel. "

"A hotel that was built in a fairly grand style but is now a little tired and run down. However, it is clean, the WiFi was good and the bed was comfortable. It was located out of the centre a bit but only about 5 minutes from where I worked at the shangri la and about 10 minutes walk to the main square"

"Rooms smelled like smoke, bathroom was not clean - one of our rooms had a broken faucet and leaky toilet. Checking in was weird, staff didn't give me a key or tell me the room number just the floor and when I got there another staff told a local man what room, no wifi code etc. Later on I went back to the front desk the staff was helpful though. But since there was a holiday the restaurant incl. room service was unavailable with little eating options nearby."

"Ever check in to a place and say, "Oh well, it's only for a few nights?" RIght across from the train station. ALL NIGHT LONG the trains blow their horns - they don't do that during the day, but ALL NIGHT LONG they do. I stayed 4 nights. Did not (could not) sleep the 1st or 4th night. Slept about 3 hours the 3rd night. They hired an outstanding photographer for the room shots. It's awful. The hotel is near NOTHING, and is not in a neighborhood where you would want your...

"I have stayed in hotels of many countries, this one is among the worst. Said to be 4star, but less than 3 star. Staff are ok, but spoke almost no english --- and they called it "international". Toilet smelled, room small, TV not working. Hotels.com shld review its ranking."
