"This is a fantastic property in a near perfect location (when its sunny!). Rooms and bathrooms are quite small and tend to get very humid even after a short shower. Property is also very difficult to get to if you are driving from the south and using google maps. Best to ask the hotel or drive to the north side of the city and drive in on the ocean side road. "

"heb afgesproken met vrienden voor eten en drinken in Alkmaar en woon zelf ver weg. Dus 1 nacht verbleven. Dat is prima gegaan. Leuk is dat je nog duidelijk sporen ziet van de vorige bestemming van het gebouw. (Gevangenis) Alkmaar is trouwens ook wel een mooie stad om te bezoeken met traditionele panden en grachtjes."
