Really cool feature was the framed pictures of their archives including ledgers and historical photos of the hotel, which they had found in a storeroom during the renovation. "The guy in reception was brilliant. The room was freezing cold, realky cold but he bought in a heater while i was out abd the room was much warmer when i returned!"

"Hotel was clean, staff friendly, and was close to the city centre. Breakfast was average, a good selection but as it was buffet style its hit and miss. Room was spacious, shower had good pressure but the shower door was not the best and the water was spraying out on the bathroom floor. Bed was a good size but the mattress was quite hard and the pillows were not the softest too. Overall we were impressed with the hotel and would definitely stay again. "
