"Our biggest disappointment was the swimming pool and the area around it. It was the main reason we booked Karoo Life Bed & Breakfast. We really wanted to be able to spend time around the pool relaxing during the very hot days we were visiting. The pool was dirty and not cleaned once during our 3 night stay. The Kreepy Krauly pool cleanser hose was also left in the pool the entire time we were there which made it impossible to swim across the pool. It also wasn't working. The pool looks nothing...

While booking a series of properties for a tour of the western cape I failed to notice that the calendar on the third booking, Rietfontein, had reverted to the current date this year instead of the date we reqd for next year. "Beautiful facility and farm. Staff friendly and professional. Game drives very pleasant with stunning surroundings. Didn’t see a lot of animals though. Was disappointed in the lack of airconditioning in rooms. Struggled to sleep in the stifling heat. Though I understand the facility runs on solar panels, I feel it can be indicated on the website that no ac available. "
