"My wife and i stayed for 2 nights for our sons wedding. All i can say is that the staff were out of this world. We travelled a long way with a wedding cake in the car, and we had a disaster... it toppled. When we arrived late on the evening, the night shift could not have been more helpful. They gave us some bits to attempt to rebuild.... but we are no bakers. They put our cake in the fridge for us to attempt after some much needed sleep. "We had an amazing stay for our anniversary, couldn’t fault anything it was great! The food incredible, we had two breakfasts and two dinners it was that good! The staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for us and the room was lovely, we had a great view of the gardens! The location plus all of the above we felt was great value for money and we are already missing our stay in the New Forest! Would definitely recommend! "

"An old coaching inn well sited in Salisbury very close to the city centre and close to Cathedral and other historical sites. The hotel is very comfortable with well equipped rooms. "

"Reception staff and waitress at breakfast were excellent. Great breakfast, room clean and good value for money. Great location. Down side, no rose wine (had run out) and came back for nightcap and coffee (before 10pm) but told no coffee available as machine switched off. Would have expected these things to be available on a Saturday night. Nevertheless would recommend and would go back."
