"Building itself is old and rather quirky. Room was small but very clean and adequate for stay. Food both in evening and breakfast was exceptional and there is a good choice of beers. Staff all very accommodating - my only gripe would be that listing should include directions to car park - hotel is on a one way system and the postcode takes you to front whereas car park is at rear. Bit of a mare, particularly arriving during rush hour."

"The highlight of the hotel is the food, it is excellent. The hotel is beautiful with excellent design. Some practical things were overlooked for instance it is impossible to sit in front of a mirror to use the hair dryer."

"Lovely room, super helpful staff, easy parking, great home-made food in the restaurant for dinner. Not so good - Bathroom with zero character (so different to the bedroom), breakfast was bland and average at best. Nothing of any interest within walking distance. Overall a solid 8/10 and worth a stay."

"It’s a nice enough hotel, quite old fashioned, but spa area is lovely - outdoor pool small but warm enough on October. Sauna & hot tub were wonderful. Just a real shame that the hotel didn’t have views of Rutland Water - it really could be in any field anywhere in the UK. "

"It was the best place I’ve stayed at in Peterborough so far. Clean, nice, and central. Only criticisms are the shower door was broken/not attached properly ( I expect this was a previous resident and hasn’t been noticed yet) and that the double bed was 2 singles with a double sheet over it, so I kept waking up falling down the middle! But with that said, it was a decent place and I will likely return. "

"Excellent food and good service. Room 4 is a good size and well appointed. A/C heater works well. The bathroom/wet room was a little bit tired. Breakfast had a good choice and was cooked fresh. Location was convenient for driving. Would use again if in the area. "
