"We stayed at the Compass Inn for two nights, and were very impressed with the hotel. It is in a very quiet area, next to the bridge which goes across to Anna Maria island. Our room was upgraded to a marina view, which was extremely kind of the hotel staff, as the view from our balcony was lovely. The rooms are quite spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds, and tasteful decor. I would say that the air conditioning unit in our room was quite noisy, but didn’t really affect our sleep. Breakfast was part of our package, and everything we had was great, with plenty of choices to suit all tastes. We did eat in Floriday’s restaurant twice during our stay, which is attached to the hotel, and the dinners we had were excellent. The staff were very friendly, especially the lady at breakfast, and made for an excellent vacation. Thanks to everyone at the Compass Inn!"
