4 Star Hotels in Campo nell'Elba, Tuscany

"There’s a public beach nearby (NOT a hotel beach) and the Hotel has a pool. The photo from the air is a bit misleading as it looks like the hotel has a beach with lounge chairs, which it does not. The bicycles, which Hotels.com lists as being free to use, are only free for one hour of use, which wasn’t enough for us—we needed more time to make using them feasible. On-site parking is good (but extremely tightly spaced). Room condition ok, and breakfast was fine. The town is very nice. "

"Pros: Great beach; restaurant in the hotel; near the beach; great ocean view; free parking; free towels for guests to use at the beach (ask at the reception). Cons: Lots of stairs to get e to the beach; and only one restaurant option to dine in (the hotel one). But you can drive only 5 minutes to get to another town with lots of good restaurants and shopping options. "This is a modern hotel with rooms on the small side, but with excellent room soundproofing. It is just two blocks from the beach and a pleasant twenty-minute walk to the center of town. Breakfast is comprehensive, and the evening meals included with half-board are prepared to a high standard. The staff was kind and careful, from top to bottom.
