Breakfast was good, dinner was good, grounds and pool area very well kept. The superior room was spacious, clean, and loved our balcony. Stayed for 2 nights, ate our meals there, lounged poolside for the day, and just had a fantastic leisurely time, which is all we had on our itinerary for Weligama! Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again!"

"It's a fabulous place. Beautiful rooms and the pool is fantastic. Breakfast was lovely, a bit fiddly with the coffee machine but no complaints. I was disappointed having arrived at 8.30pm that the 'all day dining' wasn't available. There wasn't any indication of the closing time on the website for evening meal. Had I known I would have eaten on the way. So perhaps make that clear on any booking in future. "

"Very relaxing stay next to the lagoon but also an easy walk to the beach. Only one restaurant was open aged that was on the beach so a bit of a trek when it rained. My room looked out on to a corridor which wasn’t ideal and the sealant around bathroom fittings was black with mildew. But largely these are minor details to a comfortable and relaxing stay at a fair price."

"Let's just say, I will definitely return. Clean, design like, minimal hotel. Private access to one of the best beaches in the South. Staff are friendly and the place feels homely. Easy access to local beach bars, restaurants, the train station, etc. Walk, tuk tuk, book a car via the hotel. "We were really impressed with the location, and it comes with 3 dogs (which is always s plus!). Sadly, a few things marred the experience. Hot water is rather non existent. You get warm water after running the shower for a long time, which is a terrible waste. The dogs are left out at night and they can bark extensively and no one seems to care. The main gate to the property is left open which doesn't seem to be very safe. I guess the dogs are there for this reason, but then when the dogs...

"This hotel is one of a kind, the staff is incredible, the views out of this world! The room was honestly my favourite of any place I’ve stayed in all my travels.
