"Definitely not a 4-star hotel. Barely a 3-star hotel. While the front desk staff was really nice (except for one guy), this hotel had way too many issues. The room looked outdated and dirty, the A/C was not working properly, no WiFi in our room (try a 4-day stay with teenagers and no Wi-Fi), mold in the showers. "Aix-en-provence is a lively and picture-esque city that has a very walkable downtown. The hotel was just the right distance from the touristy area to be quiet but still have great access to everything. The hotel is a little older and could use some new furniture, but is quite clean and in what seemed to be a very safe area. Overall I would say it was a fairly good value."

"We stayed here before but now it’s a Mecure it has really improved. A full remodelling has been done and it’s a great job! Lovely room with great bathroom. Plenty of sockets and tea/coffee making facilities. We took the breakfast in a great bright dining area. Food was good a plenty of options. Hotel is right on the front and is a five minute walk from station. Highly recommended. "
