4 Star Hotels in Freudenstadt, Baden-Württemberg

"The room was spacious and comfortable, but certainly not worth the price nor rating of a 4.5 star hotel. Hotels.com boasted "4 restaurants" while in actuality there was only one restaurant with 4 different sitting areas with the same menu and you could not choose in which area you wished to sit. The older staff was also not at all friendly and acted a bit annoyed with every question or request. There were also loud noises with the creaking of the wood steps and hallways."

"We had a cosy family room with a nice balcony view. Even more fortunate, it snowed on our first day. The breakfast was great with a nice variety of bread, cold meat and hot bacon/bratwurst and eggs. Will definitely stay at this place if we ever revisit the region"

"Shocking! No reception to check you in despite it being 3pm, envelope left on stairs with room number! Breakfast was a joke, cereal, few bread buns and a menu offer to cook an egg and that was it! Didn’t even have a toaster! Room was ok but we were on top floor and having to carry cases up 3sets of stairs to the top floor wasn’t ideal! Bathroom was so small the door barely closed with sink and toilet. Bed was good though!"

"This hotel was awesome. We were only here one night on a trip through the Black Forest, but it was great. It's cute and quaint and quiet. The dinner in the hotel is truly one of the best I have ever had and I've traveled a lot of Europe. The menu is set, but I ate many things I wouldn't normally and loved every one of them. Buona qualità per prezzo/qualità. Negativa la separazione tra zona pranzo e zona notte; il collegamento avviene attraverso l'esterno, sia pur parzialmente coperto; internet è disponibile solo a prezzi costosi."
