"Hotel staff were surprised when I checked in as a single female and after seeing the room I realised why. The lock on the door had been broken and was not fixed, the windows on a first floor room did not close - this meant the room was 40 degrees Celsius and raised security concerns. There was a mysterious door in the room that led to a balcony guests could not access and the bathroom had not been cleaned after someone had used the toilet. This is not the safe 4 star hotel I was expecting. "

" I had a wonderful time. There were a few mishaps initially in the beginning (refrigerator left unplugged and there was water all over the floor) but other than that my stay was wonderful. I also enjoyed the fact that there was a convenience store right around the corner to purchase many items to make my stay more comfortable. The hotel staff were nice as well, especially Ene and Peter. The chefs were fantastic also. I highly recommend this place and definitely plan to go back again."

Once I got to the hotel in Nigeria, I was told that I had to pay the hotel directly even though I booked the hotel through Expedia. I was able to contact Expedia to get my money back, and I paid the hotel using the money that was returned to me by Expedia. "Do me a favour and spend your money elsewhere. Booked a room for 2 persons, with breakfast buffet included, but when we had to eat breakfast it was only for one person, never said that on the reciept from Expedia. Staff was slightly rude and ignorant. The pool is made for midgets (sorry) you cant even take a swim in it. The maintenance of the hotel is poor and we even got upgraded to a suite, we had to share a towel and a bathrope, as they only give out for 1 person?!. Food was not that great...
