"This place is a long way from Yangzhou, about 40min. Pictured are misleading, as it is on a dry river bed, not on the Li river. Once you get over the shock of being so remote actually the service is very friendly, beautiful hiking and amazing rooms. The pool is only in use over the summer months. A great place to get away from the noise for a couple of nights. Bi far away from Yangzhou activities. "

"My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights. The rooms were dingy and dirty. The shower drain was clogged with hair so our shower water wouldn't drain and would flood the entire bathroom. The air conditioning was weak and couldn't cool down the room (Guilin can get extremely hot and humid, so AC is pretty important). The hotel claims to offer laundry machines but the machines cost money and the dryer did not work. I spent 50 yuan trying to dry a load of laundry but ended up having to carry my wet...

"Stayed at the hotel for a bit more than a week. Looks very nice aesthetically. Very nice and flexible cleaning staff...that's where the good parts end honestly. Checking in was difficult, the people at the front couldn't find my reservation and were skeptical that I actually booked rooms. There were bugs and mosquitoes in my room, and I always woke up with bug bites. While checking out, the front desk said I was good to go. "Amazing doesn’t even get you half way! This is an incredible hidden gem in Guilin. Nestled in the middle of the botanical gardens, this hotel is perfect! 10 stars! The staff is warm and welcoming and incredibly friendly and helpful, even for the non-Chinese speaking guests. The staff went above and beyond at every turn. This is a must stay if you get the chance. The rooms are huge the bed and pillows incredibly comfortable. I haven’t slept this well in years. The included breakfast was delicious, they have a pool and a pool table, table tennis and a billiards table as well. Laundry machines which are free for guests. They have it all."
