4 Star Hotels in Jiyuan, Henan

"We had a truly outstanding experience at this hotel. The staff were so helpful, friendly and attentive to every detail, even to the extent of delivering to us at the airport a phone charging cable we’d accidentally left behind in our room after checking out! It was probably one of the best customer experiences we have ever come across anywhere in the world and far better than the vast majority of five star hotels we have stayed in elsewhere (and we’ve stayed in dozens all over the world)....

"The staff are wonderful. Very polite and always try to help. However hotel itself is not quite ready for overseas guests. Took long time to check in (I booked thru Expedia); in-room telephone is for inside hotel use only--couldn't even call within Luoyang; did not inform guests about a fire drill and we walked 11 floors for nothing; no hangers in room, had to ask; nothing to put a suitcase on, had to set the suitcase on floor; no closet; light sensor for bathroom annoying--had to waive for light...

"The room is spacious and comfortable. The staff at the front office reception and restaurant were very helpful. However, the room price was a bit on the high side for this 4-star hotel (S$177), probably it was due to their peak season with Peony Festival. "
