"A Grande Dame of a hotel. A little dated in places, but the rooms were great and the beds comfortable. The staff was also very nice during our short stay. Right in the heart of downtown. Not waterfront, however, so if that is important go to the two other Fairmonts that have water views"

"Nice property and great views. The hotel was very busy so a long wait for the elevator. Only negative is that the hot tub is terrible. It’s very small and inside so a bit gross and of course it’s full of kids. The pool is outside and since it was winter it wasn’t busy but the hot tub in winter is a must after the pool. Everything else was excellent. The Arc downstairs has an excellent Sunday brunch. "

"Walkable to all the great Asian restaurants, milk tea stores and shopping. My main complaint was the crumbled bedding (both the duvet and the sheet) and the room was dusty, all the guests felt congested after the night. The front desk was nice enough to offer switching the room. Staff explained that they were in the process of replacing the duvet/sheet."
