"We have driven to Brisbane a number of times and never knew this place existed! Very affordable, large spacious rooms and, while some of the rooms are dated, the location and amenities are excellent for those using it as a stopover to Brisbane. Staff are lovely, very welcoming and we enjoyed our stay. There is a pool, which we didn’t use, and the gardens and grounds are nice. We will be staying there again."

"unfortunately through no fault of Ramada we had no power for three days because of weather conditions. The shops, restaurants etc where all closed. wee had one day of the booked 5 days where the weather was fine and most shops and restaurants reopened. We spend the time mostly reading and relaxing."

"We arrived early and the very friendly receptionist allowed us to check in. Our room was on level 5 facing the harbor, it was interesting watching the ships enter Newcastle Port. There is car parking under the building with an overflow outdoor section. Our only issue was a very small room fridge without a freezer. The bar staff gave us ice when we asked for it. All of the hotel staff were polite and professional. "

"Loved our stay here. Clean and comfortable and quiet. We had a two bedroom apartment over 3 levels. Perfect. We hung by the pool- and had dinner at the restaurant: fantastic Korean food. All the staff were friendly and you can see that they are keen to bring the place back to its original glory…"
