"Very nice, clean accommodations. The restaurant was fantastic. Staff very friendly. Stayed 3 nights. Not spooky. Beautiful grounds. Very relaxing. "

"Hotel and grounds were lovely. Really enjoyed the antebellum charm. However, we were disappointed that there was no coffee maker in the room. One would expect that in a hotel of this quality. After our first night stay, the room was not serviced. We had to ask for fresh towels at 4:00 PM in order to make our New Year's even dinner. After that, the service was fine."

"Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. "

Even the house cats seem relaxed, as they casually study the guests and decide to offer you their welcome. The surroundings, from decor to bed linens are sumptuous, and the overall feeling is one of quiet discovery as you imagine yourself living there in a different century."
