"We needed a hotel near the airport as we had an early morning flight and the Sama Sama exceeded our expectations. The hotel is connected to the terminal by a walkway and there is a complimentary buggy shuttle available if you have luggage. "Loved the 2 bed apartment, without doubt this would receive 5 stars if it wasn’t for the terrible sound proofing between floors. I was kept awake for 2 out of 3 nights because of noisy people in the apartment above. You could even hear chairs being moved. Otherwise it was a great spot, small grocery store on ground level that sells most everything you need on holiday. For consideration you are only provided one set of keys so if traveling with a group, enquire with the hotel first. "

Cons: reception staff could only speak Malay, did not like sink outside of bathroom with no counter space for toiletries, did not like purple LED light running along cupboards, hotel is with newly opened mall and car park right at the top levels with all levels of the car park looking unfinished, it’s not a nice first impression.
