"We always enjoy our stay at RIU Monica. It is very easy to arrive by car, plenty of room in front of the hotel to arrive then find a parking spot or use hotel parking lot. I really enjoy room with a balcony, rooms and the hotel are very, very clean. Gym has a few bikes, rowing machine, eliptical, treadmill, and a few weight machines. There are so many great spaces inside and outside the hotel. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent, you can sit outside over the ocean (by heaters if needed). The restaurant staff is incredible, very professional. This is adults only hotel. Also, it is an easy hour drive to the Alhambra (drive up and spend a night at Aurea Washington Irving, also very easy to pull up and take your time to get in and staff will park your car for $25 a night, you can easily walk to Alhambra from hotel). We are usually in Nerja in January, weather is generally 60s and sunny, water temp is also around 60 so swimming is not too bad. We are in our mid 60s and are very active, this hotel really suits us well."
