"I stayed at the Leonardo as I was racing at Donington Park. I found the staff to be very friendly, the room was big and clean and had a nice shower and a bath which was welcome after a busy day. The food was good and despite being next to East Midlands Airport the double glazing is so good I was never disturbed by aircraft. "

"Lovely location spoilt by terrible weather Found the lighting in suite dark and lights overhanging bed too low On arrival information given extremely quickly Would have liked more information about where to visit in local area Poached eggs we were served looked very snotty other people also left them uneaten Would have liked a fish option at breakfast after a few days a full English becomes too much "

"Cozy room, facilities. Could do with some privacy to windows not having any net curtains. Meant having to keep curtains closed and lights on when getting dressed so not to be exposed to people using the car park. "

"We had a small double including a lovely breakfast which was very good value. Lovely pool. Easy free parking. Convenient for dropping son at university and visiting relatives.The hotel was old and had character, but was well maintained. Would be more eco-friendly to only change towels if left on the floor and to provide soap dispensers rather than little individual plastic bottles. "

"Greeted with a smile from the receptionist on checking in. She gave us all the relevant information related to our stay; restaurant opening times, leisure facilities and directions to our room. Room was clean and comfortable. Bar area was great, good selection of drinks, food served all afternoon and I presume into the evening too although we ate in the restaurant after 6. All the staff were pleasant and friendly! I would stay here again and hopefully use the pool as we didn’t this time. "

"The staff were so friendly and the breakfast was wonderful. The rooms and elevators were old and dank. The toilet didn’t flush well and there was no space in the room to store belongings except for a very very narrow closet. If two people stayed in this room I can’t even imagine where they would put their things without tripping over everything. "

"We had a sofa bed for our daughter in the room. It was so uncomfortable. You could feel every wire. We picked the hotel for electric charging. There were 2 charging bays which were not marked as electric charging bays and there were 2 petrol cars parked in them so couldn’t charge our car. "
