"It was a birthday weekend between friends we have enjoyed it but the room service was surprisingly slow! We also didn’t like the menu options at both restaurants the food wasn’t great either. It was a good stay overall but I find the place is a little overrated for the price it costs "

"Outstanding hotel. I almost don’t want to leave a great review so it remains a hidden gem! Gorgeous spot in the Laurentides, with the main building having been painstakingly restored and decorated over the course of 4 years. We stayed in the newer second building (a 1940s building fully renovated last year.) Our room was spacious, and fully kitted out with top in-floor heating in the fully tiled bathroom, and state of the art heating/cooling/drying system in the room. Bed was comfortable....

"This was an amazing place to relax. It was so peaceful and the surroundings are stunning. The property is also beautiful, very tasteful and clean. Gordon was a perfect host and we were very lucky that we were the only guests there. Beware that there are quite a lot of stairs to get to the 2 suites downstairs (I'm guessing around 15-20) plus stairs to get to the house from where you leave the car.
