"A lovely comfortable hotel with beautiful decor and warm friendly staff. Rooms are not sound proofed- so you are able to hear a lot of noise around dinner time. The room it self was beautiful, with a comfortable bed and cosy lighting. The bathroom was nice- the shower was wonderful. Unfortunately our trip was let down by the food! My husband had a full English breakfast, in which we did have to complain as the sausage appeared to be raw. They apologised profusely, took our plates and spoke...

"Quite a nice quiet place but not worth anything like what they charge. There were stains on the bed covers which they came and changed straight away. Breakfast wasn't worth bothering with, hardly anything there on the continental option, we waited a while for drinks that didnt come so we gave up and left."

"Had a great stay in the Broadside room last night. Only issue is that the bed does need replacing - although fairly comfy to sleep on once settled, the mattress has lost all of its springiness and has no support, and makes a terrible racket when turning over in the night and has random springs boinging for no reason. The bed itself also creaks quite badly too. However…..if this gets sorted we will happily stay here again time after time. Every single other aspect of our stay was fantastic-...
