"We have stayed at this hotel many times and keep on returning, which is the best recommendation we can give. The reception staff is always alert and willing to help. There are few "down issues" one being a chronic problem trying to turn off lights over the bed. It is an electric wiring defect. Again, reception staff are ready to help. I have not stayed at many hotels in Varna, but will return to the Golden Tulip when the time comes"

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kaliakra: quality food, very helpful personell, child friendly, a few steps to the beach. The downside from my point of view is that there is actually no area on the beach itself reserved for Kaliakra clients. That means that on the beach you will not be able to hire umbrella, etc. Also it is extremely noisy until 12am if you have booked the room with the sea view. "The location was perfect for our needs a car Is definitely required. The appartment didn’t have sufficient things to cook a basic meal. No oven or microwave and just a basic 2 pan hob. The pool is very nice and large. We had to ask for a toaster and kettle to be supplied. Overall we managed to get by but would have been perfect if more cooking items were provided.
