4 Star Hotels in Saltcoats, Scotland

"Bad enough that as a blue badge holder they charge you for parking. We could not get parked on the three disabled places. One car on a disabled bay never moved in the three days we were there. In fact getting parked at all is difficult, ad apparently people park there cars in the hotel car park then fly away on a trip. Result, hotel guests often cannot get parked. On first day we got the only remaining space. We also saw cars parked on the street because they could not get into the car park....

"Nice classy hotel, don’t forget to bring your swimsuit to access the spa! Breakfast was pretty good. Room was not small, but needed some care and maintenance, like some other parts of the hotel too. Happy with our stay. "

"Stayed 4 nights primarily to attend a wedding at the hotel. In summary the downstairs is clean, modern and smart. The restaurant food is very nice. The bedrooms themselve are very dated and the mattress not particularly comfortable. We had a bath with shower over which was ok. The cold tap only trickled with water and turned off if you tried to turn it on further! The toels and bedding were of good quality. We did ask for fresh milk and decaffeinated tea bags which they were happy to provide...

"Food in the Blues restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Minor niggles in the room the coffee maker was broken, and one of the lamp bulbs blown."

"We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. However, very noisy floor boards in our room were really quite annoying. The sound insulation between adjacent rooms could be improved. The breakfast was generally fine, although a couple of items were over cooked & inedible. Service for dinner was very slow."
